Many of the products available through Auexus, including contracts for difference and margined foreign exchange, are leveraged. Leverage allows you to control a position substantially larger than the capital you deposit. While this can magnify gains, it magnifies losses to the same degree.
A small adverse movement in the underlying market may result in a loss that is significant relative to your deposited funds, and may exceed your initial margin. You are responsible for maintaining sufficient margin at all times. Where margin falls below the required level, positions may be closed automatically and without prior notice.
Markets can move sharply and without warning in response to economic data, geopolitical events, changes in liquidity, and sentiment. Under volatile conditions, prices may gap, spreads may widen, and orders, including stop orders, may be filled at a level materially different from the one requested. A stop order does not guarantee execution at the specified price and is not a guarantee against loss.
You should be aware that it is possible to lose the entire balance of your account. In certain circumstances, including extreme market dislocation, the failure of a counterparty, or the unavailability of liquidity, losses may be rapid and substantial. You should treat all capital placed with us as being fully at risk.
